The two new aircraft of the Type DA42MPP with its on Board Sensors and Ground Station could already show its great performance to Royal Thai Air Force. With the new aircraft, the Royal Thai Air Force is setting up a new Standard towards performance, operating costs and flexibility. Diamond Airborne Sensing Department, together with Asian Aerospace Services and its system partners have provided complete turnkey solution, aircraft, system and training. The system training has successfully been performed and the first flights with outstanding results have been performed by Thai Air Force own Operators and Pilots. The Total fuel consumption of the aircraft with all mission equipment included and based on an average mission flight profile is below 36 Liters of Jet fuel (18 liter per engine) per hour. All Mission aircraft of the Royal Thai Air Force are equipped for Multi Sensor Operation mounts and wiring kits. Asian Aerospace Services Ltd has increased its technical support team with highly experienced specialists (foreign and Thai) especially on the Sensor and IT sector and is providing full after sales support for aircraft, sensors, ground station and data link equipment to Royal Thai Air Force.
