Asian Aerospace Services has successfully delivered four new DA42VI to Royal Thai Airforce Flight Training Academy in Kamphaeng Saen.
The Royal Thai Airforce is flying Diamond Aircraft since 2008 and ever since, RTAF is continuously increasing their fleet with Diamond State of The Art Carbon Composite aircraft equipped with Jet Fuel engine.
The RTAF is operating all Diamond aircraft with JP-8 fuel, which is a huge saving in fuel costs but also in logistics. RTAF has been proving that the DA42VI is an excellent aircraft for flight training and special mission purposes such as Surveillance & Reconnaissance.
As all Air Force Cadets will be trained on DA42, they will be instantly ready for flying the DA42 special mission aircraft, which is another great advantage and very smart Pilot training concept of the Royal Thai Air Force.
