AAS is proud to announce the successful delivery of three DA42 MPP reconnaissance aircraft to the Royal Thai Air Force.


These three DA42 MPP have been delivered with an extensive package of Ground Processing Stations, Spare Parts, Trainings and a Purchase and Development Program, and have a changeable configuration for surveillance and LiDAR Geo Missions.


The aircraft are equipped with the best in class technology from Riegl Laser Measurement Systems of Austria and leading edge Camera/IMU/Flight control System from IGI Germany.

 

The relationship between Royal Thai Air Force, Asian Aerospace Services, and Diamond Aircraft started more than one decade ago with Training and Special Mission Aircraft. The Royal Thai Air Force (RTAF), Asian Aerospace Services, and Diamond Aircraft have been working together closely in upgrading aircraft and sensor technology integration, tailored to the needs of RTAF. 


Special thanks to RTAF team for achieving another milestone. 


To extend our commitment towards Sales, After Sales & Support for our customers in Thailand and SE Asia, Diamond Aircraft and Asian Aerospace Services have further increased and intensified their collaboration with opening an own office with factory delegate Benjamin Schuhmann, Sales Manager APCA & ME Special Mission Aircraft Division, to be stationed in Bangkok.

 

The Royal Thai Airforce Diamond DA42MPP special mission aircraft are equipped with Air Conditioning, DME, Traffic Advisory System, ADSB in/out, Terrain Warning, Full Glass Cockpit with 3-axis Auto Pilot, full IFR/RNAV capable. The endurance is 8 hours, and the range is 1000NM (1800km). The fuel consumption of the most modern FADEC Controlled Twin Engine aircraft is less than 40 Litres of Jet Fuel per hour (20 Litre).
